Saat itu, umat manusia hidup dalam kondisi tertindas, terpecah belah, dan bergolong-golongan. Allah mengutus Nuh sebagai rasul untuk memimpin mereka kembali ke jalan yang benar, sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam <b>QS. Ar-R\u016bm [30]: 30-32.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Misi utama Nabi Nuh adalah mengajak umat manusia yang telah lama hidup dalam kezaliman untuk kembali kepada kebenaran. Allah akan mengazab mereka yang sebelumnya menjadi kekasih-Nya tetapi berkhianat dan berbalik menjadi musuh-Nya. Ketika ajal mereka tiba, tidak ada yang dapat mengundurkannya atau memajukannya. Allah tidak pernah berbuat zalim kepada manusia, sehingga Dia mengutus Nuh terlebih dahulu sebelum menurunkan azab-Nya kepada kaum yang zalim. Sebagaimana firman-Nya:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSesungguhnya Kami telah mengutus Nuh kepada kaumnya (dengan perintah): Berilah kaummu peringatan sebelum datang kepadanya azab yang pedih\u201d <b>(QS. N\u016bh [71]: 1).<\/b><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hingga suatu masa, Nabi Nuh diperintahkan untuk membawa orang-orang beriman berlayar dengan kapal. Nuh telah berdakwah dengan penuh kesabaran, tetapi kaumnya tetap menolak ajakannya. Ketika azab Allah datang, hanya orang-orang beriman yang naik ke dalam &#8220;bahtera&#8221;. Saat Nuh hendak menyelamatkan keluarganya, ada anggota keluarganya yang menolak. Malaikat pun berkata, \u201cIa bukan bagian dari keluargamu.\u201d Hal tersebut menegaskan bahwa aqidah tidak bergantung pada hubungan keluarga. Aqidah memiliki kekuatan untuk memutuskan perasaan subjektif, hanya iman yang dapat menjadi dasar utama dalam menentukan kebenaran.<\/p>\n<p>Kisah Nabi Nuh dan bahtera yang menyelamatkan manusia serta berbagai jenis makhluk hidup menjelang banjir besar memiliki makna simbolis dalam dakwah dan jihad. &#8220;Bahtera&#8221; melambangkan sarana dakwah yang diperlukan dalam perjalanan dari awal hingga akhir, yang membawa misi kebenaran.
