Pada zaman ini semakin canggih dan modern, banyak cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mencuri dengan jumlah yang lebih banyak.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jangan mencuri dalam Bahasa Ibrani <b>\u201dbngt al\u201d (l\u014d t\u1e21\u0259n\u014db)<\/b> yang memiliki arti dia tidak akan mencuri. Sedangkan bahasa Yunani<b> &#8216;Ouv kle,yeij&#8217; (ou klepseis) <\/b>yang jika diartikan memiliki makna yang sama yaitu dia tidak akan mencuri. Jika perintah negatif disertai dengan kata kerja imperfek, maka hal tersebut menunjukkan sebuah larangan mutlak. Dengan demikian secara harfiah hukum tersebut menunjukkan sebuah larangan jangan mencuri yang bersifat mengikat.<\/p>\n<p>Jangan Mencuri memiliki makna jangan mengambil hak milik orang lain tanpa seizin pemilik. Meskipun secara definitive ungkapan jangan mencuri terbatas pada unsur materi dan kepemilikan, tetapi secara prinsip ungkapan tersebut dapat melampaui konteks materi. Mencuri adalah perbuatan jahat, perbuatan buruk karena hak orang lain dirampas atau diambil.
